Anatomy
Spring 2012
(Size unknown, but very big)
Graphite
This was a piece that I did the convey the idea of Anatomy, more specifically how beautiful it can be. I worked on a ground, which was a first for me. Unfortunately, the only thing I dislike about these pictures is that I could not get the paper to lay right, so the line at the bottom looks a little distorted.

how I wish you could see the potential
the potential of you and me
it’s like a book, elegantly bound, but
in a language that you can’t read (just yet)good photoset with lyrics from a really really good song, wow. :)
the obvious answer
I have tendencies similar to mania that I can fall into from paranoia, obsession, etc. and they are really unproductive and horrible. They suck. Hard. And lately I’ve watched a friend dealing with her new boyfriend’s manic episodes. He becomes paranoid, jealous, argumentative, and just miserable to be around….and it’s exhausting for both of them. Completely unproductive. Not fun. Not a good thing.
Who thinks mania is always good thing? That’s just ridiculously ignorant.
this is applejack’s fancy cousin, pommedeterrejacques. she is a supermodel mare living in france and her family farms potatoes.
pomme de terre = potato
jacques = french for jackshe’s regal and stuff
I’m so amused by this…the name is cracking me up and she’s so cute and long-legged, haha! Her hat and bandana ;-;
So, I stopped snacking oh, over a month ago?
And I’ve cut starches out on most days, except for cereal in the morning and bread or pasta on occasion. It’s gluten-free, either crunchy maple/vanilla sunrise (flax, quinoa, and normal cereal-y things) or rice chex with soy or almond milk.
So I have these grey skinnies and they always -fit- but never fit -well- and TODAY THEY FIT REALLY WELL/LOOSELY
I kind of always wanted to slim down and always thought it was going to be too difficult or something, or that I’d get cravings, and I don’t aah ;-;
So yeah. I’ve gained a lot of muscle and gained weight from that, and then I started losing fat so now I’m feeling really good ;-; I want to lose more on my torso just because I know it’s hard to lose and it’s obnoxious AND the most unhealthy kind of weight to have, but I THINK I CAN DO IT~~
I’M JUST REALLY HAPPY OKAY I’m sorry this blog’s become more and more text posts but I’ve posted about weight on here before so I feel I have the right to celebrate.
Also on a side note I’m going to scan Lance/Emilie’s new ref and possibly some other things…so check out mylovelyastronaut.tumblr.com.
Vegan and Gluten-free cherry cheesecake muffins :)
Makes 10-12 muffinsIngredients:
2 c. all-purpose gluten-free flour (I used Bob’s Red Mill) 2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 3/4 c. coconut sugar 1/3 c. vegan cream cheese, softened 1/2 c. plain vegan yogurt 1 flax egg (1 T flax meal mixed with 3 T water) 1/4 c. agave syrup 1/4 c. canola oil 1/4 c. cherry or orange juice 1 tsp vanilla
3/4 c. fresh cherries, pitted and quartered 2-3 T vegan cream cheese for swirling into tops of muffins (optional)Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350. Line a 12-cup muffin tim with cupcake liners or spray a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray. In a small bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, flax egg, yogurt, juice, oil and vanilla with an electric mixer. Add flour mix to wet cheese mix and use a rubber spatula or wooden spoon to stil until incorporated. Fold in cherries. Spoon batter into muffin pan, almost to the rim. You should have 10-12 muffins.Optional Step: Using a ¼ teaspoon, spoon tiny dollops onto the tops of each muffin. Use a toothpick to make a few “swirling motions” to marble the cream cheese into the top.
Bake for roughly 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Turn muffins out onto wire rack to cool. Enjoy!
Wow, thanks! I have a friend that’s vegan AND gluten free, I’m sure she’d love to see this recipe. Plus it just sounds good.
